Chris’s Bio:
I love our Central Performance vision of improving the health & lives of our clients & the Surry Hills community. The challenge & fulfilment of building a team that takes each client’s aspirations & goals, whether to win at the elite competitive level or just to feel great & have heaps of energy, & turn them into reality is what really gets me out of bed in the morning.
Working with my wonderful team to develop & deliver our great range of services that I know will keep people more active, and healthier & having fun with their family & friends is the most inspiring part of my work. I also love seeing our athletes at the peak of their performance, especially knowing the work & training they’ve been through to get there. I firmly believe that exercise should be fun, functional & whole-body – no more lines of boring machines & mindless workouts!
I have both undergraduate & master’s degrees from Sydney University, & extensive experience in providing physio coverage for representative rugby teams in the UK.
Interests:
Even after 20 years of being a physio, I’m still so grateful to be in a position where I can have such a positive impact on people’s health & their lives. I love working with clients & getting them back on track for a healthy & active future. I get even more of a kick out of helping my team develop so that they achieve these same great results for their clients as well.
Something Fun:
Together with my lovely wife Jude, my weekends are usually spent having fun & playing sport with my beautiful kids Dan, Fin & Sophie. I’ve recently become addicted to Stand-up paddling & think it’s one of the best workouts around!
