Located in the heart of Surry Hills, Central Performance is the perfect destination for city- based workers looking to begin a strength training program. It begins with a one- on- one initial assessment, during which we take a full subjective history: your injury and medical history, as well as any exercise you’ve undertaken in the past.

Next, we take you through an objective assessment, involving various movement tests and incorporating our VALD Forcedecks, to get a true measure of your baseline strength measures. Once we’ve got these, we discuss your goals with you: what do YOU want to get out of your training? This allows us to tailor your program to your needs, based off your testing measures.

Chris McCarthy, Exercise Physiologist, Sydney

Your coaches, Chris and Zach are both Accredited Exercise Physiologists – university qualified, allied health professionals trained in the prescription of exercise for a wide variety of chronic conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, diabetes and osteoporosis.

Exercise Physiologists differ from regular personal trainers in a couple of key ways: trained to deal with complex chronic health conditions, they find ways to exercise around your conditions, whilst also utilising exercise as a means of treatment for those very conditions.
